STYLEAID is a fashion fundraising event that marks the peak of the Perth social calendar. This premier black tie event is run by the WA AIDS council, in association with Curtin University, a not for profit organisation seeking to provide awareness for the prevention of HIV as well as the support, treatment and care of those already living with AIDS. Bam Creative have hand crafted the most recent event based websites series, including 2014 and 2013, and prior to that supporting the cause for many years.
Over the past 12 years, we’ve done our best to support the cause, year after year. The WA AIDS council approached us again this year to make our eighth STYLEAID website and we were more than pleased to have the opportunity to work with them once more.
Each year we seek to innovate and create exciting new websites for the event and this year’s website was no exception.
The STYLEAID event takes on a new theme every year which drives the creative direction for the photo shoot, magazine, invite, event and website design.
We always strive to craft something special to represent the theme and help tell the story creatively through our website design. This year we delivered a sleek and modern one page layout featuring the latest technologies including parallax scrolling and a responsive design. The parallax effects create a unique and interesting experience that impacts the user as they scroll down the page. The careful adherence to responsive design ensures users on all platforms including mobile devices are receiving the best experience possible.
Various interactive elements have also been incorporated into the page, connecting their social media platforms to encourage more engagement.
Bam Creative have been one of the most amazing digital design web teams that I have had the pleasure to work with. They always have fresh, innovative concepts on how to best present STYLEAID and in this era of recognising the importance of having up to the minute digital representation they tick all the boxes and excel at what they do!
