We've been sadly remiss in keeping our staff profiles up-to-date. Joining in March 2013, Heryati manages the books, and administration here at Bam Creative, to ensure all goes smoothly. Here, we ask Heryati for her answers to some common questions…

"All websites should have…"

An interactive site that audiences would keep on going back to. In a world of modern technology, websites have become a marketing tool; thus it should engage its targeted audiences. IT should also have a theme instead of going all over the place - which makes it look messy.

What was the last book you read?

Currently reading 'Gin; A Global History by Lesley Jacobs Solmonson'. It is a book about the origin of gin and how it was created and a lot of interesting botanical facts that I was not aware of. There are even a couple of recipes to try out!

If you didn't work in the web, what do you imagine you would be doing?

Technically, I don't work in the web. I am a number cruncher who works with a team of web designers and developers and often a time got roped into html, cms, css and html conversations - which at times - is pretty interesting. But if I didn't work with numbers, I would probably be a theatre stage manager.

A fact most people wouldn't know about Heryati?

I used to be a 'Boyband Chaser' when I was in high school. I would chase all the boybands that are on tours, take tons of pictures of / with them or get their autographs on posters and sell them to teenage girls who goes ga-ga just by staring at their photographs. That was how I got extra pocket money to buy (at the time) CD player or headphone or even head to the movies with my friends over the weekends.

Thanks for the responses, Heryati, we appreciate them.
