Bam Creative are very proud to have partnered with Kaarakin, a not-for-profit, independent conservation organisation who rescue injured and orphaned black cockatoos for rehabilitation and release throughout Western Australia, while also engaging the community in conservation action.
As part of an ongoing partnership, Bam Creative launched a new website for the organisation. The website takes its influence from the colours of the black cockatoo, and features a large banner randomiser that shows the latest Kaarakin news, snippets that inform the user of facts about the black cockatoo and emergency forms and contacts for anyone who finds an injured bird.
One of the most popular features of the website is the Twitter feed, which is 'written and mananged' by Kaarakin's Chasey the Carnabys Cockatoo, who tweets about his daily routines and the plight of the Black Cockatoos. Chasey also attended various website meetings at Bam Creative to give his feedback and thoughts on the project!
